The question of worth comes up suddenly. One day you are consumed by trivial things and the next you are wondering, what's it worth? All of the relationships and places we have encountered must fall somewhere. But what's it all worth? Looking into this world and seeing the worth of others or rather what they consider worth, gives a deeper meaning to this question. We make worthy the most mundane things, which ultimately cost us our worth. Is it natural to do so? I guess. It's the plight of being human. Most never ask the question, what will this or that be worth? I think if we all consider this question more we'd be more cautious and careful with our worth.
There are so many things in this world that waits to violate our worth. But the problem is we aren't aware of our own worth. So, we are like spoil for the prey. However, life wouldn't be life without our experiences both good and bad. Some will never find their worth, for it will be snatched up in moments never to recover. And it's unfortunate that we don't consider worth until it has been taken away. Much like Samson who did not consider the worth of his consecration through his Nazarite vow until his strength was gone. We must be careful to ensure that the question of worth never comes up too late. Because after your worth has been spent, what's next? Eternity.

This is why I think Paul told Timothy not to despise his youth. Many of us young-lings think we have all the time in the world, so the question of worth does not come up soon enough. I like this post a lot. Thanks for writing about it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments, Jaycee... We should definitely connect and keep in-touch. :-)
ReplyDeleteFirst an foremost I must say I LOVE the title of your blog!!...Secondly your style of writing is so analytical. It makes me think of people who tend to worship material possessions and things instead of God.
ReplyDeleteThe Line " However, life wouldnt be life without our experiences good or bad".
Our experiences in life is what makes us who we are today. These experiences also help us to change our outlook on life
Great Work!!!
